    5 out of 5 stars Excellent!   March 27, 2009

The Sony XA120IP iPod connector works great! Music sounds sweet, songs and playlists are displayed right on your Sony radio and you can use your remote control to switch songs. It also charges the 1st generation iPods. I have a 2nd generation iPod Nano and it doesn't support charging, but still works beautifully. To install, simply plug it in to the back of your existing Sony radio. The unit comes with the RCA cables, BUS Input cable and iPod connector. If your radio input is not being used, there's no need to purchase anything else, otherwise you will need to purchase the Sony input selector adapter.

it works perfectly. yes once you plug it in you can not control your ipod except if you use the deck. but thats fine in most cases you just unplug it and select your song or playlist and plug it back in. there have been reports of it not working with iphones. But in fact it works wonderfully, i use my iphone on it in our boAT every summer. it does give a warning saying "not made for iphone" but you just continue through it and it works great!

Compatible with my iPod Classic 160gb, haven't tried in other models but at least this means it works with the classic line. Easy installation, it didn't take me that much time to install "Sony XA120IP", the wire is quite long enough to reach the glove compartment. It gives a really good sound quality, if you can put the songs in a higher bit rate it would be better since it delivers better "sound quality".

Well there's really not much to say only that the product works great, haven't had any problems with this at all. Although if you have a great variety of songs, it would be best to make play-lists instead of going through each artist, by the time you found what ever your in the mood for, you'll have reached your destination already. Also another thing, if your aware of the problems with cars catching on fire from the iPod being left in the car plugged into anything really, than have no worries, I notice that once the iPod is fully charged, the device turns off after a while, so basically your car wont burn from the inside out.
