Good Quality filter January 22, 2009 Seth Ramesh (Marietta GA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you are like me who changes oil and filter in the car yourself, this is the best filter you can buy. I use this with Mobile 1 Synthetic Oil
I have been using K&N filter for the past 6 years - Both Air and oil filters and I feel the engine performs best. All of my car/truck/van have K&N in them
K&N filters. May 12, 2009 B. Barnick (Southern California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had always used Fram oil filters until a local shop showed me what was inside- cardboard.
Now I will only buy K&N or Wix.
I value my vehicles.
K&N May 29, 2009 David N. Tipton 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've always been a fan of K&N products ever since I put a cool air intake on a 01 Dodge Ram 1500. I really couldn't get the gas mileage up but the proclaimed extra hoarse power was definitely there. I bought my wife a 05 jeep wrangler with a 4.0 liter and every time the oil gets changed the oil is cleaner. And I also put a drop air filter in it as well. And yes more hoarse power. So I recommend using K&N products for what ever car/truck you have. They are more expensive but so are vehicles.

starts quiet because of anti drainback, filters my oil well , no pressure drop.
great filter for the money July 11, 2009 W. Y. Lin (torrance, ca United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchase this oil filter for infiniti M45 and infiniti G35 and have used them on the civic Si, Rx-8, and nissan 95 240sx with a sr20det s14 VTC type. I keep them around because they work on a plethora of engines: honda K20/24 & J30 V6, Rx-8's rotary, Nissan S14 SR20det, VQ35/37/40, VK45, VR38DETT, mitsubishi 4b11 (evo X) and 4g63(evo 8/9/ eclipse) and many more.
The nut is a life saver in tight spaces, and especially on the new 2006+ civics Si which have a very tight and confined installation space. As for filtering i've taken an old one apart and noted the filter media is very high quality i'd say as good or maybe better than most oem filters.
I recommend it, it's a good filter just to keep around/ have since it works on just about anything my friends have.
