January in Vermont with nurses from around the state. Jennifer Pierce
Weeks, TMC founding mother and first chapter President, and Polly
Campbell, TMC President spoke with the nurses about the advantages of
IAFN and TMC membership.
A day-long, chapter sponsored conference is planned for June 6 featuring
Daniel Sheridan, PhD, RN, CNS, and Immediate Past President of the IAFN.
Dr. Sheridan will speak about assessing dangerousness in cases of
intimate partner violence, and identification and response to elder
abuse.
Paula Fanjoy was re-elected for a two year term as Secretary, and Kathy
Parent as President-elect to the Three Mountain Chapter Board of
Directors. The chapter is exploring development of a webpage and list
serve for chapter members to bridge the distance among members.
